The man with the biggest smile on the soul scene and one of the most eclectic taste palettes you’re likely to come across. The young Deano started buying records in the late 80s and has been veraciously tracking them down ever since. Back then, going to Dingwalls in Camden on a Sunday afternoon, Dean garnered a burgeoning love of Jazz, Funk, Soul and Latin music.

In 1990 Dean’s adventures in record collecting led him behind the decks and since then he has been fortunate enough to DJ all over Europe representing Soul Jazz Records where he has worked for the past 15 years. I now co host Soul Provision in York with Jonny Crawshaw and regularly guest at Soul Kitchen in Tunbridge Wells and Carib Soul in Essex.
